Techno Animal - Ghosts

In 1991, the same year that Godflesh came out with their masterwork "Pure", Kevin Martin and Justin Broadrick made this strange album of unentertaining industrial beats. Released on Martin's Pathological Records label.

Uninteresting, you say? That's always intriguing. Repetition goes a long way with me, so I'm okay with this stuff. But between the sounds and the cover images I'm at a loss as to what they're trying to convey. Thanks for the post.

I didn't say "uninteresting"... I said "unentertaining". That's different!

I love JB and all he sails in but hadn't heard this before. Whoa boy, it's brilliant. Not asked the Mrs what she means ... but my take is that the purpose isn't to entertain (hence unentertainment) ... it's repetition to the point of submission ... and to slip The Dream Forger in the middle is a "I'm safe now" interlude to reinforce the point that you never were in the first place.

This is fucking great!
