Maurizio Bianchi - REMS/MECAT

Let's face it, the artist and the label need no introduction.

This is a collection of tapes that were originally self-released between 1980 and 1983. They have been reissued before but this may well be the crowning glory. This is the seven tape reissue courtesy of Urashima in 2017. It came in a lavish wooden box / sliding lid set and I'll readily admit that this kind of packaging rings my bells immediately but, crucially, these reissues (remasters?) sound so much better than any other reissue that I've heard ... and I've heard most and maybe all of them.

The clarity and the depth of the flac rip is a real eye opener and a joy to behold and I'd recommend it.

The Plain Truth

The 320 mp3 is good too but just doesn't reach the same dizzying parameters. This in in two parts so you'll have to extract them to the same folder (don't know how / don't ask / find out).

Takes yer picks.
