This one came out in 1999 on Incidental Music in the US and on the Sony-affiliated label Dohb Discs in Japan. This includes the 3" CD that came with it's initial Japanese release. I'm a big fan of the cover art.

Audio Sports - Strange Emotion

The core group was Yamatsuka Eye, Aki Onda, Nobukazu Takemura and Toshiyuki Mori. However, there were always a wealth of people in the supporting cast. This includes Tsuneo Imahori (guitarist with Tipographica) and Otomo Yoshihide. It starts with a synth that sounds like Luke Slater covering the soundtrack to Escape To New York before (d)evolving into twisted hip-hop beats
