Wilt - Witches Brew
Great 4xC60 boxset released on Turgid Animal in 2007 in an edition of 51.

WHAT'S THE POINT?
The intention is to promote people who make beautiful music.
The intention is to introduce you to the people who have been carving their own path...with no care for what anybody thinks.
We try not to post things that are still for sale but sometimes post things that are not easily available. If you like what you hear, then find these people and tell them how great they are.
Better still, tell them and then seek out their new releases and buy them. We add links, when they are reliable and active, so that you can keep track if you so wish.
Always go straight to the artist or the label where possible. That way, the money goes straight to the people responsible for this art. These people rely on our support to keep going and make more quality releases!
Please feel free to leave comments as you go along...at least then we know you appreciate this stuff (or otherwise) and you're not just a bunch of freeloading file collectors.
If you made this music and we have pissed you off by posting any of this, please leave a comment in the post and the offending articles will be removed.

Torturing Love is a collab venture between Torturing Nurse and Fecalove. Enough said. Except from the fact that it's released on Turgid Animal which is a cross-European collaborative effort between Mutant Ape's George Proctor (UK), and Fecalove's Nicola Vinciguerra (Italy). And Turgid Animal is really fucking spot on!
Say hello here or here
This cdr is so sold out it ain't true and it was only released in 2010, so you know it's quality!
Torturing Love - Untitled [turgid animal]
CDR released in 2008 in an edition of 125 to celebrate the 1st year of operation of great Dutch label Cut Hands.

This is Jazkamer as (erm) Jazzkammer. In 2004, they altered their name to Jazkamer, to get rid of the jazz and presumably the kamm. At the risk of stating the obvious, Government Alpha is Yasutoshi Yoshida...a stone cold freaking noise genius. This was released on Yasutoshi's own Xerxes label in 2002.
Disco Disco Disco Disco!!!!

Groove part 2
Here is a bit of Govt. Alpha from way back but you should check this link which can't be embedded for some reason.
Jazkamer is the wonderful work of two Norwegian composer/musicians: John Hegre and Lasse Marhaug.
These are 3 C60 tapes released in a nifty boxset in 2005 in a measly edition of 100on Abisko (who appear to be in hibernation).

FTR are a damn fine label based in Newcastle in the UK run by Keith Mitchell who records as Inhibition, White Walls, Unit 731 and Deutsche Christen. First came on my radar when I bought the Inhibition split with Kylie Mynoise last year from Lea Cummings' Kovorox Sound label.
Keith offers (almost) the entire catalogue of 50 (and counting) releases as free downloads but I highly recommend buying the physical relases...it sounds better and the packaging etc really is high quality.
Go check it out...try then buy!
Final Trauma Recordings
Quick note...all the files that had originally been uploaded as zipx have now been replaced as regular zip files!
Thanks to the people who pointed that faux pas out!
This is Ontayso. This is their Project 24 Hours...erm...project. Ontayso are Mexican Esther Santoyo and Belgian Koen Lybaert. Largely, this would be called ambient but there are strands of dub, techno and IDM. This is your favourite headspace mixed with the occasional music in your favourite horror flicks.
D'ya know those times that you're ripping because some fuckwit rules your life? This is the music that creates the space where you can feel yourself again...and develop a strategy to save the world ... or kill the bastards.
Released between 2006 and 2007, the 24 discs were gathered together in late 2007 with a bonus disc...tune in...turn off...think on!

This is a really great compilation from two really great DIY labels. Small Doses and Phage Tapes combined to release this as a fundraiser for the Minneapolis Noise Fest last April. Apparently this came in only 135 copies but you can still find it if you look hard enough. Both label owners sell direct from Discogs here and here. Go support!

Superb collection of Peel Sessions from bands that flew out of the Earache stable. When Earache turned up in the mid 80s, they were an absolute revelation, introducing a slew of underground UK hardcore bands to these ears! These sessions capture the main early players at their best. Later termed as grindcore...it was always punk as fuck to me.
Earache are still out there bursting eardrums at will...if this floats yer boat, check them out here

Just to fancy your tickle, here's a great compilation that may introduce you to some more inspirational people.

Li-Jianhong is at the leading edge of Asian avant-noise. Hailing from Zhejiang Province in China (before moving to Hangzhou) he formed the avant-rock group "Second Skin" and now manages 2pi Records. He lays waste to the retrograde psychedelic guitar landscape and trivializes the petty cartoon violence and shock tactics so popular within too many harsh noise projects.
P.S.F. records describe him as "China's hottest, loudest and most psychedelic avant-noise guitarist". I can't add to that.
Listen...buy...worship!

You might have gotten the impression that I like John Olson quite a lot. Spykes are simply my favourite JO thing (although Stare Case are coming up on the rails at the mo').
Cracked electronics, perverted sax and assorted manipulated brass. Noise as it should be...at least for today!
It's American Tapes. It's am486. It's 6 cdrs. It's from 2005. There were only 30 copies.

Mindflayer were Brian Chippendale (Black Pus, Lightning Bolt, etc) and Matt Brinkman (Meerk Puffy, Forcefield and so on) and hailed from Providence, Rhode Island. Brian Chippendale is one of the greatest drummers out there and I could listen to him all day long. In fact, I do on a regular basis.
Take noise, punk rawk and speedcore and bake on a gas jet. Can music be schizophrenic?
...erm, apparently so!
Mindflayer have probably been posted all over the shop...don't care...if one person hears them for the first time, job done!
