Fushitsusha - Secret Black Box

6 x cdr release on the sadly missed aRCHIVE label. This is the most extravagent bootleg ever produced documenting an epic seven hour live performance at Hosei University in Tokyo on December 13, 2003. There were only 20 copies made and were never for sale, being given to Keiji Haino himself or traded with friends.

Apparently this had been floating around for a while and I had no idea. I found it on Enter The Mirror but the filehost had already pulled the plug. Luckily I knew somebody who had gotten there in time.

If there is a downside, the second track on disc four is missing. Whilst that means one track isn't here, you still get the other 6 hours worth. One day the missing track will turn up...but until then...

UPDATE: that was quick! A beautiful person has sent me the missing track...the boxset is complete!!!

Keiji Haino: love his guitar playing, not so keen on his vocals ... heresy I suppose... but I do like I Said This Is The Son of Nihilism and Fushitsusha's Hikari to Nazukeyo is pretty good some of the time so I'm going to try again with this... thanks very much!

Here´s a link to a Sonic Youth board (the non-SY area, that is) with a shitload of Haino, Fushitsusha, LRD ... stuff. Unfortunately, lots of these recordings were hosted on MU. There also is a (different?) recording of this concert in FLAC. Don´t know if it was on MU as well.

Wow, fantastic! Thanks a lot for this! Really never expected to be able to listen to this!

I'd like to request something if possible. I see that you re-up some of your older posts (like Gnod). Any chance you could do that for Kousokuya?

I would like to extend my statement about loving you to the person who sent you the missing track.
It's very, very appreciated!

Awesome, thanks a lot! I've been on a kousokuya kick lately and discovered some stuff here that I haven't yet heard. Thanks for mentioning Violent Onsen Geisha, haven't checked them out yet, I'll use this opportunity. I'm happy that after megaupload and such, there are still blogs like this that post weird, experimental and just fun japanese music. Thanks again! (It also helps that I like a lot of the other stuff that you post)

Tears of joy! I was at this gig - I sat through the whole thing, utterly shellshocked. And now I have the chance to hear it again, over ten years later. I am both excited to the point of sickness, and nervous to the point of sickness.

Thank you, thank you.
