Rema-Rema - What You Could Not Visualise

I was a massive fan of Renegade Soundwave before I knew about Rema-Rema so imagine my cherubic smiling face when out of seemingly nowhere this 12" turned up (no, I'm serious ... imagine it ... see feels better now doesn't it). A Renegade Soundmachine (Gary Asquith with Renault Schubert) remix of the eponymous track (the B side is the instrumental and I'm always a bit ho hum about such things). Anyway, it's feckin' great.

12" released on Le Coq Musique in 2015.

Is Renegade Soundmachine a 2000s version of Renegade Soundwave? I loved Cocaine Sex and Kray Twins and the RSW in dub lp was pretty good too. They seemed to fade away after that. I bought the Rema Rema 12" because Big Black used to cover the song Rema Rema live.

Pretty much but they haven't made much as far as I can tell (it's
Gary Asquith and Renault Schubert). I was into them until about 1990 and gradually drifted away into much harder techno and drum n bass / jungle. Funny you should mention Big Black, that's exactly what happened with me ... the bootleg 7" is coming up tomorrow.

Oh yeah, just realised ... i meant Soundwave even though this is Soundmachine ... duh!

Those were the days, cheers badgerstump. Actually I was thinking of the world domination enterprises dub lp that was good, I think the RSW in dub lp was a bit cheesy and put me off them.

World Domination Enterprises?

WOW. Now there's a confession. No wonder you're anonymous. Surely there are self-help groups available?
