Bravo Google!

There have been issues with people commenting recently. We used to get email notification that comments were waiting but those emails stopped ... we just assumed that nobody could be bothered commenting. Turns out they were sat there in the background of the blog. Once we (well, Mrs Inside tbh) figured it out, they were posted ... with the final ones being posted last night. I got back from work today and all comments posted since the 3rd of June have simply disappeared. There is no evidence that they ever existed.

I've been all over the "Help" forums and it looks as though it all started on May the 25th (presumably when they were preparing for GDPR) and it looks as though they have made a right bollocks of it and introduced bugs into the system. There is the occasional official "we are aware of the issue" type comment but no actual action or advice. 26 days later and now comments are being deleted en masse! Now that's improvement for you!

We have no idea whether you can actually comment on here anymore ... or if you can, whether they will still be on the blog 10 minutes later. Just letting you know that it's definitely nothing to do with us!

Do us a favour and drop comments on this so we can try to figure out what the damage is ...
