Just been going through Violent Onsen Geisha discography this week, his electroacoustic works are astounding (Nation of Rhythm Slaves), such a shame there isn’t more stuff from him in that vein. Btw, I have been enthusiastically following Bleak Bliss for quite a long time but never commented until now. Your recent posts on Hair Stylistics has pointed me to my greatest musical discovery of this year. Just wanted to express my gratitude. Seeing a Masaya post again tells me you are about to drop some more rare stuff from him. I hope that is the case.
Yes and yet not even a quarter of his gigantic catalogue. As badgerstump wrote in a post, there is almost no sacrifice in quality, some albums such as 100 which I did not like as much as others were still pretty satisfying. Moreover, there is almost no repetition of motifs and flavours, each album is unique on their own, save for the outlandish humour. I wonder how he sleeps at night with these endless ideas circulating in his head.
YYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSS!!!!!!
