Kraftwerk - Kraftwerk

Florian Schneider was one of the architects of 21st Century music. He died today. 50 years after this was made.

Thank You

  3. Hard to think of a man who's had more influence on modern popular music. R.I.P.

  4. A sad day indeed. I was only listening to V-2 Schneider on Monday and I thought about how sad the world is without Mr Jones and now... even more so without Florian.

  5. 73's not that great an age by modern stds. Shame he went off-grid after jumping ship from the 80s-night self-tribute act that Kraftwerk became - would have been nice to hear him on his own. RIP

TEE was the most complete and perfect expression of the schtick that made the group a crutch for every 'pop culture' writer but this very different debut is my fave of their catalogue.

  6. Agree this is my favorite of their catalogue. Very sad to see such a legend pass. For anyone who hasn't seen it, there's a great video of early Kraftwerk at around the time of this album (they play Ruckzuck!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNoFHdlMrtI
