v/a - The Portable Altamont

The first five 7" singles (1989/1990) from Stefan Jaworzyn's Shock label, issued on one ill-fated compact disc with a bonus track by each artist and terrific cover drawings by Savage Pencil. I say "ill fated" because most copies of the disc were affected by "disc rot" which ate at the material and rendered them unplayable. Music by Current 93, Skullflower, Nurse With Wound, Drunks With Guns, and Coil.

    Thank you very much. Someday, I will buy that USB turntable and rip a FLAC. Until then, this will tide me over.
