This was supposed to have been released by Richard Rupenus in an edition of 100 sometime in 2012.
It was due to be a 3"cdr with an "anti-art" (unplayable) 3"cdr in a nice little box set etc.
I was one of the many people who stumped up £20 for the preorder. Then nothing at all happened. Nothing!
I have seen a few go for sale at outrageous prices so at least some copies managed to get out. However, the people who "bought" them at the time didn't get anything at all!.
Somebody has given me a rip so at least it can be heard.
Nichts Fur Niemand = Nothing For Nobody.
Quite!
Nothing For Nobody
Again... ultra mega thanx!!!! Robert

ReplyDeletevomir sold his studio copies to the ones who got upset that it was clear that release was never going to happen.
I'm glad Romain dealt with it that way...I'm sure GX did the same!
ReplyDeleteAs a complete TNB fanatic, this left a bad taste in the back of my throat...especially never getting any response to any of the emails!
Nichts für mich - seems I'm too late.
ReplyDeletefile doesn't exist
it appears to have fallen off the server...it's back up now.
ReplyDeleteyeah, i'm reposting this, too... the story behind it was crazy... I am *REALLY* hoping the title wasn't the clue that no one was ever going to be getting anything...
ReplyDeleteI really hope that it wasn't intentionally done. Certainly, Romain and GX wouldn't have bought in to that! I have heard certain things related to other parties tho'
ReplyDeleteRepost this again and again...given my experience, I'm expecting this to get a take-down soon. This should be re-posted by every like-mind everywhere all of the time!
At least that would prevent the inevitable repackaging becoming another TNB cash cow and we don't all get ripped off again!
There is no way that Gerald would have agreed to do something if it wasn't going to be released...
ReplyDeleteI completely agree!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure he lost money (and time and energy) on the deal as well!
Thank you so much! I'm on the infamous £20 team also. Mailed and mailed them but nothing happened. Quite strange, when you get to think about it? They don't seem to have that many followers, do they? Editions of 100-200 tend to fetch high prices, as you write, but when it comes to 300 or more editions the prices around are most fair. They should nurse us a bit more - but again, what do I know.....?
ReplyDeleteThey may have had more people who bought into it if it wasn't for certain facets of TNB constantly repackaging old noise into limited edition "art" releases (how ironic) and then slamming anybody who dared post their decades old material.
ReplyDeleteI use the past tense intentionally because I don't believe that anybody will believe the hype ever again!
I love TNB.
I hate their exploitative cash cow economics and that "they" (he knows who he is) can so casually exploit people!
link still active...can´t help it if i´m lucky...it just put me through the roof...thank you...
