Bwannoy - A Minóy/If, Bwana Collaboration

Don't let the generic title fool you. This cassette is a classic of American bedroom murk by two giants, released in 1990 by a Florida label called Antebellum. It is wonderful. Minóy (RIP) was a prolific home taper whose mostly self-released tapes are being remastered and reissued now and are all worth exploring. If, Bwana is the solo project of Al Margolis, who ran the Sound of Pig tape label in the 80s/90s and who currently runs the more academic (but still vital) Pogus Productions

Their names always sounded like they belonged together and/or by side xD I think it's fascinating how these three projects of US tape music had such mutually conductive names, the third one being Hands To.
