Various ‎- Wahrnehmungen 1980/1981

This is a celebration of the German label Wahrnehmungen which released 19 cassettes between 1980 and 1981. The label was initially run by Joachim Stender and Ralf Wehowsky (both of P16.D4, Permutative Distorsion, whilst Ralf also records as RLW) with Roger Schönauer of P16.D4 assisting for a period in 1981.

In 1982, Joachim left the label to found the Tödliches Schweigen label. Ralf was then joined by Achim Wollscheid (aka S.B.O.T.H.I. / Swimming Behaviour Of The Human Infant and a member of Non Toxique Lost) and the label transformed into Selektion.

This set reissues five Wahrnehmungen cassettes, each taking one side of vinyl. In order, you get Ertrinken Vakuum, Kurzschluss, Permutative Distorsion, LLL and Der Apathische Alptraum. The sixth side and the bonus 7" contains previously unreleased material from P16.D4 recorded in 1981 and 1983 respectively.

Triple LP and 7" released on Vinyl-on-demand in 2005.

Thank you, Vinyl-on-Demand releases are always welcome, in particular the most obscure works.
All the best.
