Violent Onsen Geisha - Nation Of Rhythm Slaves

This is just classic bouncy and unhinged VOG ... I'm sure there is a bit of Consolidated in the first track, Japanese covers of Canned Heat interfered with, twisted easy-listening salaryman karaoke and other such senses of false security and then you hit the middle section. From there it's all "oh shit, here we go!". Just for good measure there are a range of other people contributing to the majesty such as Masami Akita, Kazuto Shimizu, Masuko Shinji and Naruyoshi Kikuchi.

This is a CD released in Japan on Rail Recordings in 1996.

There is somebody (anonymous of course) who keeps abusing me for posting things in flac. So by way of apology, here it is ...

... in flac.

Dear FLAC hater: you can use an app called ALL2MP3 to convert FLACs to MP3. Search it, it's easy to find and free.

Badgerstump: thanks for the post. Boss cover art on this one too.

They were running out of space presumably. Same thing happens to me all the time, (there are just sooo many amazing things to listen to) for instance I haven’t been able to get around to the stuff posted after the Jojo boxset yet. However I don't see why one would get uninterested let alone pissed off at FLAC at all (unless they use really sub-par audiogear). On the contrary, it is ridiculous that one would not prefer lossless audio wherever possible, especially when it comes to such intricate works that are posted here.

NoRS is my favourite VOG era Nakahara work for sure. Especially the electroacoustic pieces are just fantastic, swear they made me ache for a (or more) Nakahara collab with Keith Rowe and/or the likes. Moreover, Hair Stylistics X Big City Orchestra has been one of my musical fantasies for a while now hehe.
