Maria Zerfall (more or less "innocence is the decay of all material things") is the work of Christine Weyrether who was spectacularly active between these years but then she disappeared from view and I have no idea why that happened. What she left behind is some really great industrial noise works that are utterly Germanic in tone. I posted this compilation a few years ago but a recent conversation sent me back to it and I hadn't listened to it for quite a while and it is even better than I remembered it to be. If bit-rate matters to you then you may want to upgrade to this flac rip. It's a particularly timely reminder given that the resuscitated Vinyl-on-demand has just released an eight LP & 7" box-set. Climb In!
