What happens when the guy from Cosmonauts Hail Satan and Mutant Turd collaborates with the guy from Ashtray Navigations? There will be feedback. Ignore the guy with the machine gun, some really obtuse phasing and flangers make an appearance about halfway through. Lysergic, indeed.
A CDr released on Voltagestress*r in 2004.
Get it!
Reptilian Sexual Predator - Vision
Apparently "Reptilian Sexual Predator is an American Power Electronics group". As far as I am aware, it's Joseph and Vanessa Gates (aka Peiiste etc). Whatever the truth of it (and don't forget, we live in a post-truth world so nothing really matters anymore) "Power Electronics" doesn't even come close. This swings from the truly sinister through beat heavy Smell & Quim territory to The Normal on a bad acid trip to a Teutonic P'Orridge finally making good dance music. No, don't run away! It's brilliant!
Get ready to channel your inner demons...
Double C60 released on Human Ignorance in 2012.

Crucifix Eye / Wet Dream Asphyxiation - Split
Sebastien Dessauvage and Quentin Rhys sharing a C30 of hollowed out and crackling wall on Sounding Session in 2012.
Crucifix Eye / Wet Dream Asphyxiation
Karst / Wapstan - Split
How long it has been since I plastered some noise on these pages! Time to begin anew with some forgotten releases and random obscurities. This one is a split release between Karst aka George Proctor aka Mutant Ape (interested yet?) and Wapstan aka Martin Sasseville aka Grand Nord. The first part is a terrific hurricane of distortion, perhaps a little too granular to be truly HNW but whatever. The second is a much more menacing affair with tonal feedback swells.
A CDr released on Bris Cul in 2008.
Back To Work!!
Crucifix Eye / Glasgow Smile - Split
Split CDr from Sebastien Dessauvage and Zach Guttowsky released on Richard Ramirez's Deadline Recordings in 2012.

One Dark Eye - Manic Depression
This shares a name with the tape released on Mother Savage Noise Productions in 1996. However, three of the tracks are reworked from that source with the track from the split tape with Macronympha (that was released on Spite in 1998) thrown in for good measure.
Released on Dan Johansson's Ljud & Bild Produktion in 2012.

Michael Johnsen - Live Electronic Sound Recorded 19 Sept 2007
Another self-released 3"CDr from Pittsburgh's Michael Johnsen.
Michael Johnsen - Live Electronic Sound Recorded 19 Sept 2007
Michael Johnsen - Live Electronic Sound Recorded 19 Sept 2007
Michael Johnsen - Live Electronic Sound Made By the Tuning & Spatial Manipulation of Two Closely Spaced Portable AM Radios Having Loopstick Antennae, the Resulting Signal Undergoing Mild Output Processing, Primarily Filtering & Gating
The title says it all, doesn't it? Pittsburgh's Michael Johnsen makes unstable music that reminds me of Lionel Marchetti, Jerome Noetinger, Jessica Rylan, Gert-Jan Prins, Nautical Almanac, all those artists who stradle the (imaginary) lines between free improvisation and gritty electronic noise. There's something personal and intimate about this spacious bleep, something inviting and warm. "Live Electronic Sound..." was self-released as a 3"CDr in 2007.

Cazzodio - Ad Negantem Usum Significationes
Slithering and suspicious electronic clank released on Eibon Records in 2000.
Cazzodio is the work of Piero Stanig. He is also half of Cazzokraft with Masahiko Okubo. I was going to post some Cazzokraft but Old Europa Cafe have recently reissued what I have ... so go there instead.

Linekraft - The Man Who Was Plugged In
Masahiko Okubo chose his cover well. Then he sprayed the rolling harsh reality all over it. Nice!

The Man Who Was Plugged In
Linekraft - Under The Architecture
Rhythmic harsh clatter and martial beats with one imaginary member of Test Dept. hammering the shit out of the machinery in the cover picture.

Merzbow / Bastard Noise - Voice Pie / Untitled
Split release that came in vinyl on Relapse Records and CD on Release Entertainment both in 1996. The CD has three bonus tracks and this is the version that you have here. One of the bonus tracks is Masami Akita and Reiko Azuma ripping into Suicide's seminal Ghost Rider ... for about 12 minutes! Just brilliant ...

Das Methadonprogram
Azoikum - Tod
Does anybody else here hate the pigeonholing of noise?
Power Electronics vs Noise vs Harsh Noise vs Harsh Noise Wall vs Ambient vs Death Industrial (whatever any of those terms actually mean). Yeah, sometimes I fall into the trap and use them to steer people into a particular direction but ultimately "big deal".
Stefan Widmann is a completely different kettle of Chondrichthyes. The longer the track length, the deeper the exploration.
CDr released on the legendary Slaughter Productions in 2002.
