Aube ‎- Tapes 1992-1997

On the 25th of September 2013, Akifumi Nakajima died. It took quite a while for news of his passing to reach the wider world. It was a few months later when Mrs Inside told me. We didn't know what had taken him and it doesn't matter. We both deeply admire him and the loss hit home.

This is a set of 20 CDrs containing remastered recordings originally released on 24 tapes between 1992 and 1997. It was initially released in November 2003 in an edition of 50 and then again in March 2004 in another edition of 50. Both appeared on his own G.R.O.S.S. label. It stands as an extremely fitting monument to the genius of Akifumi Nakajima.

As a way of welcoming in the new year and bowing our heads and raising a glass to the great man, we offer you this:

01 Herz Aus G.R.O.S.S. / Drip
02 Submerged Tension
03 Flash Point
04 Frequency For Collapse

ditto on namakemono's post. i already had this in a couple of formats, but its great posts like these that keep these truly wonderful things alive. i too was quite blindsided last september...the world lost someone and something that it'll miss sorely in the years to come.

Your excellent taste is showing again. Of course, I need all of these.

Being a completist for Aube (still missing a few months of the "Calendar" series. Anyone?), this is quality stuff
