Lather & Big Tex - Split

A very early release on Troniks, a label run by Phil Blankenship/The Cherry Point that would go on to become one of the most significant and prolific noise labels in America. This tape (catalog #TRO-44 for you trainspotters) came out in 2000 in a numbered edition of 100 copies and is split between two obscure bands. Lather is (was?) the nom de drone of an artist also (un)known as BRXTNLE, who ran the Noisegood label. Confusingly, Big Tex is from Sacramento CA, not Texas. His side is mono synth crunch, apparently recorded live at someone's birthday party.
