Merzbow‎ - Gman // HJYUGTF2

It's Masami Akita.

This C30 was released in 2012 on Midnight Sea Records in an edition of 100. The label seems to have disappeared shortly after this dropped.

This comes across more like the live experiences where he plays with other artists as "a band". So there are drums and guitar destruction amongst the noise. However, the j-card says that all music was made by the man himself.

Of course you need this!

WoW!

I SAW Makami Akita perform in Seattle WA., USA some years ago, part of a deluxe bill of sound artists. I saw him sitting at a table way before his scheduled top billing show, eating dinner, I would suppose.. But I did not have the nerve (CRAP!!!) at that time to say anything to him.. :(

I'd love a day where I listened only to Merzbow.... One could do that just with the 50 disc set that came out many years ago.... As an artist, he is impossible to keep up with. Discogs currently lists 347 releases. And yes, they are all different.
Thanks for adding one more to my collection!
